This morning, as I'm getting ready to put Hannah in the tub, she looks at me with the most serious look and says, Mommy I'm going to pray for you and daddy. I said that would be OK! So she puts her little hands together and puts her head down, like pastor Cortney taught her and says "Dear God, Please help mommy and daddy change my room. It is ridiculous! I want princesses" Dwayne and I had just remodeled her bed room last Jan, and spent a pretty penny doing it. Her walls are the coolest shade of green with a reddish pink trim. And at the time she agreed to ladybugs. Apparently she has been telling her daddy she does not like ladybugs for months now. I had no clue. Hate to bust her bubble but, if I change anything, I will take the border down.
Here is our conversation on the way home from soccer.
"Mommy when you and daddy got married, did you wear a princess dress?" Yes Hannah. "Was daddy your prince?" Yes Hannah "Did daddy wear a black shirt?" Hannah I can't remember "Did he have a red bow?" No he had a silver tie. Then she went on talking about princess and princes and I told her I even had a wicked witch at the wedding ;)
