Welcome to my blog of my 2 miracles! Both of the girls are growing so fast, and although pictures are wonderful memories, I seem to forget all the little things that the girls are doing. I started a page when Hannah was born, but forgot to update and lost everything. Now we have Hidey, and hopefully with this blog I can remember all the little things the girls do. Also I figured my family in Maryland would love to have regular updates along with those in Indiana who are busy!

What a day!!!!!

What an awesome day we had! We ended up going to Sam Pierce Chevy today and looked at cars and vans. I am happy to say that I am a new owner of a van!!!! Dwayne and I bought a Chrysler town and country. It is SWEET! All my back seats fold down for extra space. Now if I need to take the dogs with me there will be no problem. Hannah is just in love. And the best part is the girls get there new Britax car seats that I have been wanting since I met Amber and Jenn. WOO HOO! They gave me more for the car then I thought they would and knocked some off the van since I told him I had planed on never coming back since I didn't care for the service department. I don't get it until Monday at 4, since it wasn't cleaned. So now I'm driving a 07 Chevy Uplander. I love it, but in 3 years we will be able to afford that one :)
The girls or I should say Hannah had a blast at the babysitters! Hidey wasn't too happy the last 20 mins. She needed her momma. It was getting past her bed time. I didn't think I was going to be able to get Hannah to come home, She wanted to stay at there house. I told her, we would see them tomorrow morning at church, but she didn't like that too well. So we now officially have a baby sitter. Thank goodness! Dwayne and I enjoyed our 2 hours of quietness. Truthfully I just think he wanted to drive the loaner van:) Hopefully if all goes well, they will be going to the baby sitters once a month! I'm already looking forward to it :)

Earthquake!!!!!

The girls and I experienced our first earthquake this morning. It was actually pretty freaky!
Dwayne had changed Hidey and placed her in bed with me, with in the 5 mins he put her in bed with me and left, I had already fallen back asleep. I didn't even hear the truck start. At 5:30 I ended up switching sides of the bed, so Hidey could finish eating when all of a sudden, the guns in the cabinet started to shake and the bed was shaking. I was scared to death. I was thinking what in the world is going on? Is someone in the bedroom? I ended up getting up and called Dwayne. I told him, about the gun cabinet and the bed shaking. I said it kinda felt like a earthquake. I'm sure he thought I was nuts! It woke Hannah up. She said her bed shook. Poor kid. I should tape her telling her story ;) After turning on the news, it indeed was an earthquake. I had to call him back at work so he didn't think I was anymore crazy then he already did. HAHA

Big Girl Hidey

Our Internet went down yesterday so I couldn't post but Hidey was trying so hard to get onto her belly yesterday. I finally sat down on the floor with her and rolled her over onto her belly for her. Yea she wanted to do it her self, she rolled right back over to her back. She did that about 6 or 7 times. She hasn't rolled from her belly to her back since she was 3 weeks old. I guess she figured she could do it, no point in doing it again. Then when she was in the hospital she had tried to roll to her belly but the IV was in her way. Poor baby. She will get it soon enough.
For some reason she didn't want to go to bed last night, so she ended up sleeping in bed with me. Next thing I know it was 2:30 and she was crying in her bassinet. Daddy must have moved her sometime during the night. I was pooped when I went to bed.
It was such a beautiful day yesterday. It got up to 76. Both girls enjoyed being out! The dogs loved it too, although when the girls and I went to get Sandy's mail, Chevy followed us. Normally it isn't such a big deal, but he didn't stop at Sandy's, he went on to the neighbor across the street from her. Stupid dog wouldn't come back, I had to chase him around there house, while the girls stood in Sandy's drive way. Needless to say after I beat him, I put him in his cage!
Dwayne and I also celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary yesterday. Nothing exciting happened. I actually hate our anniversary. Probably just as much as I don't like Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. To me its just another day. I only celebrate holidays because of the girls. Although I have to say out best anniversary was last year. We conceived Hidey 2 days after. (we fought, and made up 2 days later) Thank goodness I had my tubes tided ;)

I don't love you

Those words came out of my precious little girl today, not once but twice. The second time hurt more, she had such a serious look on her face when she said it. She has been having behavior issues here lately. I honestly don't know what to do with her.
Its funny how those who don't pay attention to her come off like the greatest in the world, then there is me who does everything for the kid and she hates me the most. She reminds me so much of me.
On another note she had soccer today. She did pretty good, I think she kicked the ball once. She is getting better. Her daddy needs to get outside with her and practice.
The field is still a muddy mess so I put Hidey in the sling. She loved being able to see the kids, and every once in a while she would holler at them! I think she was cheering her sissy on. My sling was the best baby gift I got this time around. Thanks Tasha!!! :)

Out Side Fun

The girls went outside this evening to play. It was a little chilly but they still had fun. Hidey sat in the stroller and Hannah pushed her around. Then Hannah was off to get her bike. Dwayne had some work to do to his truck. He had a little helper ;) Dwayne ended up pushing Hannah on her swing while Hidey sat and laughed at them.

Some random stuff from Hannah

This morning, as I'm getting ready to put Hannah in the tub, she looks at me with the most serious look and says, Mommy I'm going to pray for you and daddy. I said that would be OK! So she puts her little hands together and puts her head down, like pastor Cortney taught her and says "Dear God, Please help mommy and daddy change my room. It is ridiculous! I want princesses" Dwayne and I had just remodeled her bed room last Jan, and spent a pretty penny doing it. Her walls are the coolest shade of green with a reddish pink trim. And at the time she agreed to ladybugs. Apparently she has been telling her daddy she does not like ladybugs for months now. I had no clue. Hate to bust her bubble but, if I change anything, I will take the border down.
Here is our conversation on the way home from soccer.
"Mommy when you and daddy got married, did you wear a princess dress?" Yes Hannah. "Was daddy your prince?" Yes Hannah "Did daddy wear a black shirt?" Hannah I can't remember "Did he have a red bow?" No he had a silver tie. Then she went on talking about princess and princes and I told her I even had a wicked witch at the wedding ;)

What a busy weekend

It's always nice to keep busy, I like it that way! Friday Dwayne and I took the girls to Ihop. They were doing a special for Horton Hears A Who. So Hannah got a stack of pancakes with a lollipop at the top. It looked really yummy.
Saturday we headed to Indy to visit Aunt Sherry and Uncle Wes. Unfortunately we were an hour late leaving the house, so we didn't get that much time to spend with them. Hannah was looking forward to playing cars with Uncle Wes. She had a blast, He played cars, hide and seek, and chased her around the house. Even Sophie got to play.
After visiting we went to keystone. I had been waiting since Easter to go to gymboree. Oh it was like heaven. I think I ended up spending an hour in there. The girls got a alot of really cute clothes. When Hannah walked in she seen this dress and she had to have it. I wants too crazy about it until the girls put it on this morning for church. Hannah also picked out matching shoes, but I forgot the hairband. O -well maybe next time.
So here our my beautiful girls in there new dresses.
On a side not, Today Hidey is 3 months old. Where have the last 12 weeks gone? I could just cry. I cherish EVERY moment I have with the two of them. I just blink my eyes and they grow just a little more.
When I went to get Hidey from the nursery at church, she was in the little car playing. The light bulb turned on and I couldn't believe I hadn't thought to put her in the jumparoo that Auntie Tasha had sent her. She had a blast, and she was even jumping.

This week ahead.......
The girls and I are attending a funeral tomorrow. Hannah has school, wed and Fri. Soccer tomorrow and wed. Then Sat................ Dwayne and I get some free time. WOOOO HOOOO. I'm so excited that its going to be just the two of us for a couple hours. I'm sure there is much more that is going to happen, Like me doing laundry and cleaning up the house. (yea right, Ive been trying for the last 12 weeks) I just hope I get an extra hour of sleep somewhere in between.
Until next time, have a good one.

Hidey slept.....

In her crib last night for the first time from 8 pm till 1:30 this morning. I don't know why she felt the need to get up at 1:30 this morning since she has been sleeping through the night since 7 weeks. She nursed a little bit then I put her back in her bassinet! I slept better after she got in there. My goal is for her to start sleeping in her crib at 3 months, but last night I felt so sick to my stomach because I just couldn't roll over and look at her. Not sure why, since the crib is in our room. (maybe her crib being in our room will make Dwayne want a bigger house so Hidey can have her own room, Wishful thinking I know) Now she is up watching cartoons and being happy as ever with Hannah.

She loves to write..........

Happy Birthday Syd

We went to Syd's birthday party on Sunday. We went bowling. Hannah had a blast. She loves to bowl, but only plays a couple rounds.
The weather was so nice on Sunday that the girls and I skipped church and went home and played out side. We probably should have went. Hannah loved going all week. She made lots of new friends. She has been asking lots of questions, Her latest one was, What does God look like? I told her that was a question for Pastor Jim. He ended up giving her 2 videos. She has watched one of them, and asked to watch it again, so she must be enjoying it.
Hidey loves to be snuggled in her sling while were out there. She loves watching Hannah run round with the dogs. Every once in a while Chevy will sneak a kiss.

Getting way too big for mom

Hidey D is growing up way too fast! Too look at her now, she seemed so tiny 11 weeks ago. I had to put her in size 3 diapers yesterday :( I have 5 packs of diapers from the church that are size 2 that I will have to take back to try and exchange for size 3. She is outgrowing alot of her clothes. She is growing out of most of her 3 - 6 month clothes. I think some one sprinkled some miracle grow on her while I wasn't looking.

Soccer

Hannah started soccer tonight! She has been waiting patiently. She was so excited to be part of a soccer team! She actually was pretty good! She is also on the same team as Sydney and Aidan.
Hidey sat in her seat and watched them all play. It ended up being to windy for her. The field was a total mess. We have gotten so much rain here lately. I think the kids liked the water more then anything.

Spring 08 Pictures

On friday I had the girls spring pictures done at sears! I have been really lazy and should be taking theses pictures myself.

Hidey 2 Months

Hidey went for her 2 month check up on March 12. She weighed 13 pounds and 3 ounces. She was 23 1/4 inches long (I think)

March Update

A lot happened in March. I had my tubes tied! No more little ones for us, unless god decides he has another plan. Mom, dad and Nana finally made it out to see the girls. (it was about time if you asked Hannah)

I need to find my picture of dad and the girls! I guess the biggest thing that happened in March was the girl's dedication at church. My parents and Nana stayed for that, which was great considering this was a big day for the girls. They were both so beautiful in there dresses and Hannah loved showing it off to everyone at church. Her Nana has such great taste.
We celebrated St.Patrick's day this year. Hannah and I made cookies with shamrocks in the middle. The girls were festive in green shirts.
I love the first picture of the girls. Hannah had gotten in trouble for something and Hidey just laughed!
The girls went to an Easter egg hunt on March 22 that our church held. It was so much fun! They had lots of games and snacks. Hannah of course had a blast, and Hidey just smiled at everyone. The down side, It snowed! Hannah had fun on the egg hunt. She didn't even fill up her basket, She wanted to go back in side it was so cold.
Of course Easter morning, we had to go in and wake Hannah up. Sometimes I think Dwayne and I are the little kids, We are so inpatient. Ok maybe it's just me :) Of course Easter looked like a mini Christmas.
Hidey isn't too sure about her bunny and Hannah is just excited!
And of course the girls in there Dresses ready for church.

Hidey tried cereal for the first time. She has been eating dinner with us. Well she has been sitting at the table while we eat our food. She would just throw a fit, so one evening I just mixed up a little cereal. Needless to say she hasn't wanted any of our food again.

We also learned Hidey could sit with support and last a couple seconds sitting by herself! She is also supporting her self standing pretty good. She is growing up way too fast for me.

After being gone a year, Angie finally came back to Indiana to visit. I didn't realize how much I missed her until it was time to tell her good bye again. Hannah sure did enjoy seeing her and visiting with James!
We had one really nice day toward the end of the month. The girls and I all went for a walk down the road. Once Hidey went down for a nap I took Hannah out to play and ride in her barbie jeep. It was so nice just the two of us! But I caught a cold and was sick the rest of the week. I'm now just starting to get over it.

I think that is about it for March.
